Domestic Abuse Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Advocate to join our team at Black Country Women's Aid. As a key member of our Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service, you will provide vital support to victims of domestic abuse in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, and Walsall.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at the highest risk.
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.
- Carry a caseload, including all aspects of case management, such as risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes, and case review.
- Collaborate with other services within BCWA and key agencies to assess risk and provide tailored support plans for service users.
- Experience of working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse in both one-to-one and group work settings.
- Ability to work within a multi-agency framework and collaborate with other services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
