About the Role:
The IRIS Advocate Educator will provide in-house domestic abuse training and ongoing consultancy for general practice teams and act as an advocate to whom patients can be referred for support. This role is part of a national network of IRIS Advocate Educators who deliver training to local GP practices to raise awareness of domestic abuse and improve early identification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-house domestic abuse training to general practice teams
- Provide ongoing consultancy to general practice teams
- Act as an advocate for patients referred for support
- Work with a national network of IRIS Advocate Educators to deliver training to local GP practices
