Black Country Women's Aid is a leading charity providing vital services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Children and Young People's Advocate to join our team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work within our Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service, supporting victims of domestic violence and abuse in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, and Walsall. You will work in partnership with other services within BCWA and key agencies to assess risk and provide tailored support to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advocacy and support to children and young people affected by domestic violence and abuse
- Work with families to assess risk and develop safety plans
- Collaborate with other agencies to provide comprehensive support services
- Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives
We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual with experience in working with children and young people. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
