The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Employee Benefits team in London. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of analysts, supporting consultants with client relationships, benefit reviews, administration, and client/member queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management
    • Manage a team of analysts to ensure efficient delivery of client services
    • Develop and implement processes to improve team productivity and quality
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Support consultants in developing and maintaining client relationships
    • Assist with benefit reviews, administration, and client/member queries
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality
    • Develop and maintain process maps and administration guides
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare client reports, data sets, and benchmarking
    • Assist consultants in tracking project progress and timelines
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance requirements and internal controls are fully met
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with client relationships and benefit programs

Requirements

  • Experience working in an insurance or intermediary environment, preferably with a focus on private healthcare and group risk
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to develop sound relationships with team members and external contacts
  • Good IT skills, proficient in Microsoft applications, with a heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and good critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
