Our client is seeking a Stage Manager.

Role Overview

The Stage Manager plays a crucial role in assisting the VP of Production & Studio Operations by overseeing daily production activities. This position acts as the primary liaison between the studio and clients, ensuring seamless operations and prompt resolution of any challenges that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Production Support: Work closely with production teams to address all production-related needs and requests.
  2. Facility Management: Oversee and manage stages, support offices, construction areas, and other facility locations.
  3. Quoting Services: Provide accurate quotes to production teams for requested services.
  4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain daily stage logs and studio reports to ensure precise record-keeping.
  5. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement plans for emergency situations related to productions and studio operations.
  6. Client Interaction: Conduct tours and meetings with clients, showcasing facilities and understanding their production needs.
  7. Facilities Coordination: Regularly communicate with the facilities team to report and resolve issues, ensuring all areas are clean and ready for client use.
  8. Operational Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of studio operations.
  9. Scheduling Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to manage prep and shooting schedules, ensuring sufficient studio coverage.
  10. Maintenance Notifications: Inform relevant parties about upcoming maintenance that may affect their schedules.
  11. Client Handover: Assist during client move-ins and move-outs to ensure smooth transitions.
  12. Financial Tracking: Review and maintain the purchase order log, coordinating with the accounts team for accurate financial documentation.
  13. Weekend Coordination: Distribute weekend call sheets to inform the team of work schedules and special requests.
  14. Event Assistance: Support the Marketing team with special events, including decorations and gifts.
  15. Primary Liaison: Serve as the main contact for clients, addressing and resolving issues promptly to build confidence in the studio's capabilities.

The Stage Manager is expected to perform all duties with a professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
