POSITION OVERVIEW:

Anderselite LTD is seeking a motivated Project Planner to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role involves working with a leading contractor that excels in delivering construction and civil engineering projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Planner for Civils & Infrastructure and will handle a diverse range of responsibilities related to both tender and ongoing projects.

Our portfolio includes projects valued between £10m and over £100m, spanning various sectors such as Highways, Earthworks, Drainage, Structures, and Rail, catering to both private and public sector clients.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A relevant ONC/HNC B Eng, NVQ, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven expertise in construction methodologies and planning activities across multiple project types is essential.

Proficiency in planning software, particularly Asta Powerproject, along with a solid understanding of tools like Excel and PowerPoint, is required.

The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities, with a strong emphasis on customer service.



KEY DUTIES:

  • Collaborating with the tender team to define the construction sequence and earthworks strategy for each bid, while preparing associated tender programmes and visual aids.
Participating in tender interviews and contributing to presentation materials.
Developing comprehensive Contract, Construction, and Design & Procurement programmes.
Creating detailed sequence graphics for active projects, including essential Sub-Contractor information.
Conducting regular site visits to assess progress against the Contract programme and attending necessary meetings.
Evaluating the programme implications of any variations as required.
Compiling Completion Programmes.
