About the Role

SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe, with a strong presence in its core markets. We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team, responsible for managing a portfolio of customers within a given territory and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customers within a territory, developing and maintaining strong relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, project tracking, and NPD, to identify opportunities and drive sales.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and use data analytics to inform sales decisions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • GCSE Mathematics and English (desirable)
  • Good data accuracy and numeracy skills
  • Previous external sales experience (desirable)
  • General construction knowledge and competitor awareness
  • Motivator and target-driven individual with excellent communication skills
