Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the food preparation process and associated tasks
  • Design innovative menus that showcase both contemporary and traditional dishes
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all meals prior to service
  • Manage procurement of kitchen equipment and ingredients in alignment with stock levels
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen personnel
  • Assess and enhance staff performance
  • Maintain precise payroll and attendance documentation
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene protocols
  • Foster a cooperative and respectful workplace culture

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a Culinary Director or Executive Sous Chef in a high-end hotel environment
  • Proficient in kitchen management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Awareness of current culinary trends and best practices in the kitchen
  • Experience in budgeting, planning, and cost management
  • Skilled in implementing food safety measures (HACCP)
