About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Kingston. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in shaping the employee experience and ensuring that our organization remains compliant with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that reflect legislative changes and improve processes.
  • Employee Relations: Provide professional HR advisory services to management on employment terms, legislation, grievance, disciplinary, and performance management.
  • Organizational Change: Assist in organizational change processes, supporting required redeployment or redundancy matters.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support team members in professional development, aligning team goals with corporate strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on performance outcomes, managing casework and suggesting remedial actions when necessary.
Requirements
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or equivalent: Chartered Member of the CIPD or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Employment Legislation: Thorough knowledge of employment legislation, HR policy, and procedures.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high-level customer service focus.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and advanced IT literacy.
  • Leadership Skills: Forward-thinking, innovative, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
