Position Overview
As a Finance Manager within our global reporting division, you will focus on the Middle East sector. Your responsibilities will encompass monthly financial reporting, collaboration with auditors, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end financial reporting for Middle East entities and manage specific processes across all group entities.
  • Collaborate with the broader reporting team to ensure seamless processes at the group level and take charge of specific tasks as needed.
  • Engage with local Finance Strategy and operational teams in the Middle East to gain a comprehensive understanding of all accounting entries.
  • Assist the local Finance Strategy with inquiries related to monthly financial reports.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, working alongside other Finance sub-departments to fully comprehend monthly actuals.
  • Perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, addressing variances and issues as they arise.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements for Middle East entities in line with local accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to fulfill their requests and respond to their inquiries.
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in finance transformation initiatives and various ad hoc projects.
  • Assist the external group reporting team during the half-year and full-year reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • Professional accountancy qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Proficient understanding of IFRS15.
  • A proactive approach to taking ownership of your work.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results effectively.
  • A willingness to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with targets aimed at enhancing a major global market.
  • Awareness of the significance of meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with Netsuite.
  • Experience with Blackline.
  • Knowledge of intercompany transactions.
  • Understanding of IFRS16.
