About the Role

The NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementation Support and Training Officer to join their Digital Training Department. As a key member of the eHealth Programme Implementation & Support Training team, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for staff in NHS Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver training programs for staff in NHS Lanarkshire, including user guides and procedures, to support the implementation of new computer systems.
  • Coordinate and run IT training programs for staff, assessing their training requirements and providing support to managers and departments during and after the implementation process.
  • Maintain and produce summary information about training delivered, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Liaise directly with users of Lanarkshire Applications to assess their training needs and provide tailored support.
Requirements
  • Education to HNC level, preferably in a computing-related subject, and a formal training qualification, such as IITT accreditation.
  • Proven ability to effectively design and deliver training and development packages, working to tight deadlines.
  • At least 3 years of in-depth experience in a healthcare environment, with a strong understanding of interdepartmental relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills
  • Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA license.
Working Arrangements

This role will be based in the Digital Training Department within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters. The working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
