Purpose & Scope

We are seeking a passionate individual who excels in sales and enjoys engaging with people through various communication channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. You thrive on achieving targets, and at CONDUIT CLUB LIMITED, your efforts contribute to the growth of a community of changemakers. Collaborating with the Membership Head of Department and other teams, you will focus on all activities related to membership acquisition, from hosting events to conducting personalized tours.

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in membership sales, business development, or community engagement. You should also demonstrate:

  • Charisma and confidence in communication, coupled with a proactive attitude and a passion for building rapport with potential members.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify new sales opportunities and enhance existing processes.
  • A strong motivation to meet targets and a genuine enjoyment of the sales process.
  • A keen interest in understanding client needs, with a fascination for the role of social enterprise in driving essential social, environmental, and economic changes.
  • Enthusiasm for our mission to promote positive social change through collaboration among members, along with a solid understanding of the membership market and our unique position within it.

Responsibilities & Key Duties

As the first point of contact, you will become an expert on all aspects of CONDUIT CLUB LIMITED, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your role will involve:

  • Driving the membership acquisition strategy in partnership with the Head of Membership, including budgeting for member growth aligned with company objectives.
  • Conducting outbound and inbound communications to build rapport and close new memberships, while identifying target sectors and individuals for outreach.
  • Supporting the achievement of annual membership acquisition goals in accordance with demographic categories.
  • Assisting in the design and execution of events aimed at attracting new members, such as open days and outreach initiatives.
  • Engaging with current members to enhance the visibility of CONDUIT CLUB LIMITED and promote organic growth through referrals.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Department to develop a pipeline of corporate targets for membership growth.
  • Utilizing CRM tools to identify potential members and opportunities.
  • Supporting an inclusive approach to member recruitment and ensuring demographic balance within the community.
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for new members.
  • Working with the Head of Department to create and implement effective corporate outreach strategies throughout the year.
  • Actively promoting the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Strategy of CONDUIT CLUB LIMITED.

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may be asked to undertake other tasks as necessary to meet business needs.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Candidates should possess:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in a sales role with established KPIs and targets.
  • Familiarity with digital communities and membership models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize a demanding workload.
  • A results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.
