Job Overview

Role: Primary Care and Outpatient Revenue Analyst

Classification: Contractual Position

Contract Duration: 12 months with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Clinical Leads and Subject Matter Experts to conduct thorough analyses of business and user requirements.
  • Document specifications for business solutions tailored to primary care and outpatient environments.
  • Assess existing departmental processes and recommend enhancements to maximize the effectiveness of business systems and improve productivity and accuracy.
  • Engage in training sessions and workshops to build knowledge and confidently share insights with clinical and administrative teams regarding best practices and documentation standards.
  • Analyze data, trends, and processes across primary care and outpatient facilities.
  • Work alongside HCA EHR Primary Care and Outpatient Technical Lead and teams to validate findings and ensure proposed solutions are patient-focused and incorporate best practices.
  • In partnership with the Technical Change Lead, coordinate the implementation of departmental systems, including workflow analysis and benchmark establishment.
  • Collaborate with Programme Primary Care Ambulatory workstream and other teams to enhance the planning, design, and functionality of the new EHR system, identifying opportunities for process automation.
  • Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure access to the most current and comprehensive information.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing integration needs with other internal and external systems to ensure they are suitable for purpose.
  • Participate in the planning, testing, and validation of pathways prior to the secure transfer of data to the live EHR system.
  • Continuously explore innovative ideas and technological advancements to enhance existing systems and streamline processes.

Position Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification or demonstrable experience in implementing technological changes and/or business analysis.
  • Prior experience in defining or mapping requirements for digital health implementation projects.
  • Intermediate proficiency in key software applications, including Visio, Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for process enhancements.
  • Detail-oriented approach to reviewing documentation and process maps.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, agile team environment.
  • A proactive self-starter with a commitment to personal and professional development.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in clinical pathway analysis and redesign.
  • Prior involvement in Electronic Health Record implementation projects in a business analyst or operational role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and familiarity with Agile project environments.
