Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accommodation Team Leader to join our team at Two Saints. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting your team to achieve their potential, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Provide regular staff supervision and coaching to support your team in achieving their potential.
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Be involved in the recruitment of your team, including relief and volunteers, and ensure appropriate shift cover.
  • Client Support: Work with clients to address issues leading to homelessness, including substance use, mental health, and debt, and support them in improving practical skills.
  • Reporting and Data: Run and provide reports and data as required.
  • Quality Checks: Carry out quality checks on client records to ensure organisational standards are upheld.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct health and safety checks and ensure information is recorded accurately on internal systems.
  • Complaints and Safeguarding: Respond to complaints and safeguarding issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Training and Development: Attend supervision, appraisal, training, and meetings as directed.
  • Flexibility: Work flexibly across all areas of operation where required.
  • On-Call Service: Be part of the on-call service for Core Homeless Services.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written English and great communication skills.
  • IT Skills: Basic IT and keyboard skills.
  • Assertiveness: Polite, assertive manner.
  • Passion for Homelessness Support: Passion for working in a client/customer-facing role and an interest in homelessness and related issues.
  • Experience: Experience of working in a residential or institutional environment and knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies.
  • Driving License: Full driving license and access to a vehicle would be desirable.
