About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker Assistant to join our team at Two Saints. As a Support Worker Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in attending appointments and encourage their involvement in personal progression activities.
  • Help clients develop practical skills in areas such as budgeting, shopping, cooking, and housework.
  • Work with external partners to maximize opportunities for clients and help them resettle in the community.
  • Empower clients to achieve their desired outcomes for independent living.
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe environment, updating and carrying out H&S checks as required.
  • Maintain client records to a good standard.
  • Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Clear verbal and written English.
  • Good IT and keyboard skills.
  • Polite, assertive manner, and ability to self-motivate.
  • Passion for working in a client/customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of the benefits system and tenancy legislation.
  • Interest and genuine concern for homelessness and related issues.
About Two Saints

We offer support to people who are homeless, vulnerable, or at risk of becoming homeless. Our services include safe, flexible, and reliable client-led housing and support, with a focus on reducing homelessness, improving health and wellbeing, and building on individual skills and resilience to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and exclusion.

We work in partnership with multiple agencies and authorities to deliver support and accommodation needs across Berkshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth, and Southampton.
