Community Housing Manager
Location: The Cedars, Hailsham
Hours: 30 per week
Salary: Up to £26,707 per annum, pro rata

Overview of the Position

As a Community Housing Manager, you will engage with a diverse range of individuals daily, ensuring that no two days are alike. Your role will involve connecting with our communities in various capacities, requiring a blend of empathy and analytical skills to manage property-related issues and foster relationships with residents.

The Community Housing Manager plays a crucial role in the effective operation, safety, and overall management of the community. You will be expected to confidently lead and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the community is secure, and all health and safety evaluations and risk assessments are conducted according to established policies and procedures. Oversee communal spaces (such as lounges, guest rooms, and kitchens) and collaborate with residents to enhance their living experience. Work in partnership with property management teams and contractors to guarantee that residents' homes are well-maintained and repairs are executed to a high standard. Manage the community's financial resources and service charge accounts. Engage with residents, guiding them to access health and social services as needed. Foster inclusion in social activities both within the community and the broader area, encouraging residents to participate in initiatives that amplify their voices. Build resident confidence by ensuring their feedback is valued, managing expectations, and fulfilling commitments. Address all complaints within the established service level agreements, keeping the customer informed throughout the process.
