Overview of the Position

As a Community Operations Manager, you will engage with diverse individuals daily, making your role dynamic and multifaceted. Joining our housing team means balancing empathy and analytical skills to oversee property management and foster relationships with residents.

The Community Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and success of our housing locations. You will be expected to confidently lead and manage relationships with essential internal and external partners and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guaranteeing the safety of the location, ensuring all health and safety evaluations and risk assessments are conducted per established policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing communal spaces (such as lounges, guest accommodations, and kitchens) and collaborating with residents to enhance their living experience.
  • Partnering with property management teams and contractors to ensure that residents' homes are well-maintained and repairs are executed to the highest standards.
  • Managing the location's financial resources and service charge accounts.
  • Engaging with residents and directing them to appropriate health and social services.
  • Encouraging participation in social events both within the community and the broader area, promoting resident involvement initiatives to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Building resident confidence by addressing their feedback, managing expectations, and fulfilling our commitments.
  • Resolving all complaints within established service levels, ensuring that residents are kept informed throughout the process.
