Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lettings Negotiator to join our team at The Recruitment Experts. As a key member of our property sales team, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts and fees, identifying client needs, and aligning them with suitable service levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Appraisal and Client Needs: Create and arrange market appraisals to identify client needs and align them with suitable service levels.
  • Product and Service Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of our property services and products, seeking cross-selling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Documentation: Negotiate contracts and fees, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained before property marketing.
  • Marketing and Viewings: Take high-quality photos and write accurate descriptions for market listings, and create and arrange viewings as necessary.
  • Client and Applicant Management: Maintain an effective applicant and client list, facilitating new lettings by negotiation between landlords and tenants.
  • Administration and References: Assist in the administration of new lettings, conduct suitable references on individuals applying to become tenants of property.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Knowledge and Qualifications: Up-to-date knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord/tenant laws is desired but not essential. ARLA qualified or willing to work towards an ARLA qualification is preferred.
  • Communication and Adaptability: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and adaptive attitude to help the team achieve their goals.
  • Driving License: Full driving license required.
