We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Negotiator/Valuer to join our team at The Recruitment Experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and arranging market appraisals, identifying client needs, and aligning them with suitable service levels.
Key Responsibilities- Market Appraisals: Create and arrange market appraisals to identify client needs and align them with suitable service levels.
- Service Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of our services and products, seeking cross-selling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Documentation: Negotiate contracts and fees, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained before property marketing.
- Property Listings: Take high-quality photos and write accurate descriptions for market listings to showcase properties in the best possible light.
- Viewings and Follow-ups: Create and arrange viewings, accompany prospective tenants, and follow up on viewings to ensure a smooth lettings process.
- Measure-ups and Administration: Undertake measure-ups of properties in readiness for marketing and maintain an effective applicant and client list.
- Enquiries and Mailing List: Deal with personal, telephone, and written enquiries from prospective tenants and landlords, and maintain an effective mailing list for tenants looking for property.
- Lettings Negotiation: Facilitate new lettings by negotiation between landlords and tenants, and assist in the administration of new lettings, including conducting suitable references on individuals applying to become tenants.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, with up-to-date knowledge of current lettings legislation and landlord/tenant laws.
- Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong administrative skills with attention to detail, and confidence in dealing with a variety of people.
- Qualifications: ARLA qualified or willing to work towards an ARLA qualification, with a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills.
- Personal Qualities: A positive and adaptive attitude, pro-active, and a desire to achieve results, with a full driving license required.
