We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Negotiator/Valuer to join our team at The Recruitment Experts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and arranging market appraisals, identifying client needs, and aligning them with suitable service levels.
Key Responsibilities- Market Appraisal and Client Needs: Create and arrange market appraisals to identify client needs and align them with suitable service levels.
- Service Knowledge and Cross-Selling: Have a deep understanding of our services and products, seeking cross-selling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
- Negotiation and Documentation: Negotiate contracts and fees, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained before property marketing.
- Marketing and Viewings: Take high-quality photos and write accurate descriptions for market listings, create and arrange viewings, and accompany prospective tenants as needed.
- Viewing and Follow-up: Conduct viewings at properties for let, follow up on viewings, and maintain an effective applicant and client list.
- Client Communication: Deal with personal, telephone, and written enquiries from prospective tenants and landlords, and maintain an effective mailing list for tenants looking for property.
- Lettings Administration: Facilitate new lettings by negotiation between landlords and tenants, assist in the administration of new lettings, and conduct suitable references on individuals applying to become tenants of property.
- Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, and ARLA qualification or willingness to work towards one is required.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong administrative skills with attention to detail, confidence in dealing with a variety of people, and ability to work as part of a team and alone.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, articulate, professional, and well-accustomed to a client-facing role.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills.
