Job Title: ICT Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual IT Engineer to join our team at Zhuzhou CRRC Times Electric UK Innovation Center. As an ICT Technical Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to provide IT support and provide backup for each other.
  2. Ensure that user support requests are logged and receive prompt attention, and all IT issues are resolved and documented in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain IT servers, networks, software, and office systems, monitoring IT systems and carrying out capacity management, maintaining data storage and backup solutions.
  4. Support R&D engineers in implementing and managing different R&D software.
  5. Install, support, and maintain all network-connected devices, providing support for Hyper-V server virtualization, SCCM, etc.
  6. Ensure the security of all IT systems and equipment.
  7. Communicate and coordinate with the headquarters IT department on IT projects implementation when needed.
  8. IT assets management, IT policies improvement.
  9. Other IT-related tasks assigned by the line manager and/or senior management.
  10. Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
  11. Knowledge of IT core infrastructure, Windows Servers & Exchange, SCCM, LAN, WAN, and internet technologies.
  12. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science and/or a related IT subject.
  13. Other relevant IT certificates are a plus, such as CCNA, VCP, MCSE, MCSA.
  14. Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
