We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to a lady with autism who is non-verbal and communicates primarily through British Sign Language.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to the lady, enabling her to participate in a wide range of activities and promoting her independence.
- Ensure good working practices, including understanding and awareness of health and safety, to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Key Worker when required.
- Support the lady to maintain a clean-living environment, appropriate to meet her individual needs.
- Participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to the lady's needs.
- British Sign Language trained to Level 1 or above.
- Ability to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Commitment to providing exceptional care and support to the lady.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to ensure outstanding support.
