**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We need you to be a person who is **extremely knowledgeable and experienced**. One who is able to work independently and within a small team. The role will include supporting this individual to integrate into the community and to enjoy other people's companionship
We need a staff team who can support with **daytime and sleep in shifts**, as everyone in the team will need to be able to provide support 24 hours a day.
You’ll be able to come to work every day and use the very best of your personality and skills, to enable this person to live her best life possible.
**Essential Criteria**:
**Quick and effective decision-making skills and be self-directed as this will involve lone working 1:1 with one individual, knowledge of Autism, attachment disorders and trauma informed approach, and resilience.**
The emphasis will be on lone working including sleep-ins - we need confident staff who can work independently and make decisions quickly and effectively.
**Desirable Criteria**:
An interest in shopping, eating out in restaurants, Disney, puzzles, exploring in the local area and swimming.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.
We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, and other person specific training as required.
During the recruitment process you will have the chance to meet the person we support, and visit her home. This will allow you to see her wonderful personality first-hand and will help you to fully understand the level of support that she requires.
