Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner to work in our urgent care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring patients with minor illnesses, as well as providing education and promoting self-care. If you are a motivated and dedicated professional with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients with minor illnesses, using your advanced clinical skills to provide effective treatment and referrals as necessary.
  • Provide education and promote self-care to patients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in the administration and professional responsibilities of the practice, including maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualified Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner with evidence of appropriate knowledge base.
  • Experience of working in an urgent care/emergency setting and primary care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to use your own judgment, resourcefulness, and common sense to respond to enquiries and requests while adhering to practice limitations.
