Emergency Response Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Control and Contact Handler. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities- Handle a high volume of emergency and non-emergency calls, online communications, and social media interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service to members of the public and colleagues, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
- Make critical decisions and take appropriate action in response to emergency situations.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Be aged 18 or over on the day of application.
- Have lived in the UK for three continuous years immediately prior to application.
- Not be a current or previous member of a proscribed terrorist organisation or group.
- Not have served a prison sentence.
- Have fast and accurate typing skills and familiarity with the phonetic alphabet.
- A competitive starting salary of £28,302, plus unsocial hours shift allowance.
