Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Take clinical responsibility for your caseload, prioritizing tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain your professional competence through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities, staying up-to-date with current clinical practices and new developments.
- Contribute to the teaching and supervision of physiotherapy assistants in core clinical areas, working collaboratively with the physiotherapy team.
- Organize and plan your caseload to meet service and patient priorities, ensuring efficient use of resources.

- Experience working in a diverse team environment.
- Ability to contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy.
- Health Professions Council Registration.
- Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at relevant postgraduate courses.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and relevant Clinical Interest group(s).
- Member of the APCP or relevant special interest group.
- Ability to work effectively in a physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with patients and families across a range of age groups.
- Organizational skills, with proficiency in using computer systems, including Excel and databases.
- Broad grounding in physiotherapy, with experience in rotations such as orthopaedics, neurology, and respiratory at Band 5 level.
- Knowledge of common paediatric conditions and their treatment.
- Proven experience of acute respiratory care.
- Experience working with children and their families.
- Previous experience working in the NHS.
