Physiotherapist - Paediatric Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with a range of physical disabilities and conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assume clinical responsibility for a caseload of patients and prioritize tasks accordingly, working independently with minimal supervision.
- Maintain and enhance your professional competence through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities, staying up-to-date with current clinical practices and new developments.
- Contribute to the education and training of physiotherapy assistants within core clinical areas, in collaboration with other team members.
- Supervise and support physiotherapy assistants in their daily work.
- Organize and plan your caseload to meet service and patient priorities.

- Degree or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy
- Health Professions Council Registration
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at relevant postgraduate courses
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and relevant Clinical Interest group(s)
- Member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP) or relevant special interest group
- Ability to work effectively within a physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritize workload using time management and delegation skills
- Able to manage your caseload, seeking help when necessary
- Good communication skills across age ranges, with the ability to work with and teach patients and families
- Organizational skills
- Computer literacy, including Excel and databases
- Broad grounding in physiotherapy, including experience in orthopaedics, neurology, and respiratory at Band 5 level
- Knowledge of common paediatric conditions and their treatment
- Proven experience of acute respiratory care
- Experience of working with children and their families
- Previous experience of working in the NHS
