About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team at Cromwell Hospital. As a specialist in paediatric neurology and neurodevelopmental conditions, you will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children aged from birth to 18 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discharge planning and liaise with external agencies to ensure a safe and supportive discharge for patients.
  • Comply with confidentiality policies and respect patient rights.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and reports.
  • Manage clinical risk and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Promote dignity, privacy, and safety in patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence in paediatric physiotherapy and participate in departmental training programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Proven experience in neurodevelopment and neurology, and/or paediatric MSK and orthopaedics
  • Knowledge of paediatric outcome measures and standardised assessments
  • Knowledge of specialist equipment appropriate to paediatric physiotherapy
