Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital. As a Paediatric Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to children and infants with a range of conditions and disabilities.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing children's physical development, mobility, and function. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat children with a range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and other neurological disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy plans to improve children's mobility, strength, and function.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to children and their families.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to monitor children's progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to children, families, and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal physical development and function.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss children's care and develop treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy (MSc or equivalent).
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with children and infants with a range of conditions and disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
