About the Role
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an ambitious, creative and talented undergraduate to join the European Corporate Brand and Communications team of Hitachi Europe as a Digital Marketing Placement on a year's paid placement.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communications on a pan-European level, as well as supporting the needs of our local European offices.
- Maintain and develop our corporate websites and intranet, reviewing social media content, handling external enquiries, monitoring and analysing the website performance.
- Work closely with colleagues from Hitachi Group companies to ensure product information and web links are accurate and up-to-date in multiple languages.
- Work with external website development and translation agencies to manage online content.
- Use online tools such as website analytics and link checkers, as well as our Wordpress and Sitecore content management systems.
- Handle online enquiries from European customers, and either respond to them or redirect them internally as appropriate.
- Get involved in designing and developing new content to keep the websites looking fresh and engaging.
Requirements
- Ideally be studying for a marketing/business related degree.
- Keen interest in branding and digital marketing, including social media.
- Motivated team player with good organisational and communication skills, a flexible attitude and attention to detail.
- Proficient across Microsoft packages. Ability with other web tools, Adobe tools a bonus.
