Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an excellent service and that our sales and profits are maximized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the store's sales and customer service teams, providing effective leadership and training to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Oversee the store's inventory management, including stock ordering and merchandising.
  • Manage the store's budget and financial performance, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve store operations, including process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.
