About the Role

Lanpro is a forward-thinking consultancy providing exceptional planning, design, and environmental services across the UK. We are seeking a commercially focused Associate Director to take a leadership role on planning projects, coordinating and overseeing projects, and building upon existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning projects and coordinate and oversee project delivery
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Provide technical input into projects and bids, and identify new client opportunities
  • Manage and develop junior team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Contribute to the development of the team's core competencies and assist the Regional Director in the day-to-day management of the team
Requirements
  • Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
  • Accredited degree or Masters in a related discipline
  • Proven experience in the planning industry, including direct management of staff or leading a team
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present at senior levels and across a range of stakeholders
  • Strong client management and resolution skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts
