Position Overview:
This role is situated within our organization, focusing on a contracted engagement. We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled RTR Transformation Assistant Controller to become part of our esteemed team.


Key Responsibilities:
The selected individual will undertake essential transformation project tasks alongside dual run processing activities within the new system during the transition phase of the project.


This position encompasses all facets of accounting operations. Collaborating closely with the RTR Transformation Controller, the candidate will ensure the efficient completion of month-end closing, operational controls, and core accounting functions in the new system. It is crucial to maintain awareness of the control environment, identify potential risks, and oversee the review of account reconciliations, advising on necessary write-offs to ensure a seamless accounting portfolio transition.


Expertise Development:
The successful candidate will evolve into a subject matter expert in Accounting, playing a vital role in the successful execution of the project and facilitating system acceptance by the broader RTR team.


Collaboration and Improvement:
Build professional relationships with Business Transformation teams across various sectors, including Sales, Time Pay Bill, Finance, and Payroll, to enhance the end-to-end record to report process.


Engage with RTR & Core Accounting SBPOs, HCM/PTP/OTC SBPOs, key global stakeholders, system implementers, and functional teams as necessary.


Operational Activities:
Conduct RTR dual run activities as defined in the dual running process, utilizing the new ERP system while adhering to established policies and process flows.


Participate in data element rationalization, data cleansing, and conversion activities as outlined in the data migration strategy.


Contribute to the design and implementation of system configurations to facilitate efficient future process flows.


Define end-to-end process flows for RTR, reviewing existing policy documents and creating or updating policies as required.


Assist in the creation of test plans and test script definitions, including setting up test recording tools, creating and executing test scripts, and providing training on the test recording tool while monitoring test execution status and aiding in issue resolution.


Review existing reporting to assess its alignment with business needs and assist in designing new reports to support business operations.


Qualifications:
We seek candidates with:

  • Strong knowledge of financial and management reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical abilities with prior experience in crafting and presenting management commentary.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced) is preferred, though not necessarily including VBA.
  • Project management and leadership skills are advantageous.
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
