Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Michael Page Scotland. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements, compiling and analyzing financial information, and performing day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational financial policies and regulations.
- Perform day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Support the finance team in creating budgets and forecasts, and collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to enhance financial procedures.
- Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and regulations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Experience using Sage accounting software.
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
