Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Michael Page Scotland. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial information to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Perform day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support the finance team in creating budgets and forecasts, and ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to enhance financial procedures and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Experience using Sage accounting software.
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
