Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate Project Management Team. You will collaborate with a vibrant and diverse group, engaging in a wide range of projects across various sectors on a rotational basis. Senior Project Managers are responsible for overseeing projects of different scales, values, and complexities, from community-driven initiatives to large-scale international endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, your duties will include:

  • Leading and managing the execution of intricate real estate projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their goals are met and projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Providing strategic advice during the project conception phase, including recommending various approaches to successfully meet the client's overarching goals.
  • Defining the overall success criteria for projects, encompassing time, cost, technical specifications, and performance metrics.
  • Planning and managing ongoing quality, safety, health, and environmental considerations.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing detailed project plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Monitoring and implementing performance management techniques, including utilizing KPIs to enhance project outcomes.
  • Overseeing the change control process.
  • Monitoring and advising on project financials.
  • Ensuring the generation of formal project progress reports and other documentation.
  • Leading marketing and business development initiatives, such as: identifying new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients, recognizing cross-selling opportunities, collaborating with senior management to prepare bids for new projects, participating in client presentations, and identifying ways to enhance project management services.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as construction, real estate, or project management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing real estate projects, preferably in a consultancy setting.
  • A willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional accreditation is desirable, such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB.
