Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Real Estate Project Management Team in a dynamic and diverse environment. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a team working across sectors on a wide variety of projects on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Lead and manage the delivery of complex real estate projects, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards.
  • Client Interface: Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Strategic Advice: Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client's overall objectives.
  • Project Governance: Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  • Project Planning: Plan for and manage the ongoing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Change Control: Manage the change control process.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and advise upon project finances.
  • Reporting: Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • Business Development: Lead the marketing and business development activities, including:
    • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
    • Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities.
    • Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
    • Attending formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
    • Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management products and services.
Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant construction, real estate, or project management discipline.
  • 5 years' experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, in person and written.
  • Professional membership desirable, such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB.
