Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Real Estate Project Management team in a dynamic and diverse environment. As a Project Manager, you will handle commissions of varying scale, value, and complexity, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of complex real estate projects, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
  • Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client's overall objectives.
  • Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Plan for and manage the ongoing quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • Project plan, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan.
  • Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPIs to improve project performance.
  • Manage the change control process.
  • Monitor and advise upon project finances.
  • Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports.
  • Support the marketing and business development activities, such as:
    • Developing new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
    • Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities.
    • Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
    • Attending formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
    • Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management products and services.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant construction, real estate, or project management discipline.
  • 1-5 years of experience managing real estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
  • Excellent communication skills, in person and written.
  • Professional membership desirable, such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB.
