AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping some of the most exciting infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally.

Your Purpose
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver technical design work for dams and reservoirs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop comprehensive project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals for challenging infrastructure projects.
  • Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery within established milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams both domestically and internationally to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Maintain a steadfast commitment to quality assurance standards throughout the design process.
What You Bring
  • Chartered Civil Engineer with a proven track record in dam and reservoir engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and geotechnical engineering principles as applied to dams, reservoirs, and associated structures.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK design standards, guidance documents, and working practices, including the Reservoirs Act.
