We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Maritime Engineering Leader to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to undertake technical design work, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to relevant design standards and codes.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals, showcasing your expertise and knowledge of maritime engineering.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions, leveraging your expertise in maritime engineering.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design, ensuring the highest level of quality and integrity.
About You:
We are looking for a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with a proven track record in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment. You should have sound knowledge of civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure, supporting port operations, berthing and mooring of vessels, and transit of people and goods around the globe.
