About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Retail Account Manager to join our team at FireAngel Safety Technology. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the activity and promotional plans across key wholesalers to achieve and surpass our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the electrical wholesale channel
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national account contacts and key decision-makers
  • Work closely with the sales director to develop and implement promotional plans and incentive mechanics
  • Own and manage the financial metrics for the DIY retail channel, ensuring forecasting and highlighting of issues and concerns
  • Proactively approach key contacts across the DIY retail channel to agree plans and activities
  • Continuously review and improve plans and activities to ensure buy-in and support from top to bottom across the organisation
  • Negotiate and agree commercial agreements and tactical pricing with retailers
  • Build a powerful network of key decision-makers and influencers across the wholesale channel
  • Deliver excellent service and support to DIY retailers
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in the DIY retail environment
  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success
  • Knowledge and understanding of the retail market and a network of contacts
  • Strong networking skills and ability to work without supervision
  • Computer literate, with high standard of Excel skills
  • Valid UK driving licence
