About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Gordon Murray Group. As a key member of our Technical Procurement & Production Function, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing technical components for our programs of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Source and engage appropriate suppliers, manage RFI / RFQ documentation, and oversee the operation of the Dispatch Note system to ensure authorized releases of goods.
  • Purchasing Guidance: Provide technical purchasing guidance and direction to other divisions and personnel within the Company.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and deliver cost-down opportunities with incumbent and new suppliers, ensuring quality, service, and performance metrics are maintained.
  • Supply Chain Management: Periodically review the current supplier base, identify opportunities for improvement and consolidation, and establish contingency plans for business continuity.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy requirements within your areas of responsibility.
