About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Home Bargains. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Support fellow team members in delivering excellence across the board, including putting out stock, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring products are available and presentable.
  • Work on tills, handling cash transactions, and ensuring seamless stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Adapt to changing situations, working in various areas of the store, including the Café, Bakery, and garden centres.
Package Description

As a Store Team Member, you will enjoy a competitive rate of pay, ranging from £10.00 per hour for below 18-year-olds to £12.88 per hour for those 21 and over, inclusive of hourly Regional Allowance. You will also receive:

  • 16 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
  • 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year, including bank and public holiday allowance, rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service.

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
  • Have experience of cash handling and working in a retail environment.
  • Have experience of manual handling and stock replenishment.
  • Be hardworking and reliable.
