We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to join our facilities department as an Assistant Office Manager. This role will be responsible for managing office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our Reading office.
Key Responsibilities- Manage office operations, including administrative tasks, diary management, and travel bookings.
- Assist the Facilities Manager and Facilities Team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Manage meeting rooms, vendor bookings, and on-site events.
- Coordinate the receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail and packages.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including PAT testing and maintenance of equipment.
- Provide support to Fire Wardens and First Aiders as needed.
- GCSE A-C in English & Mathematics - Essential
- Experience in a similar front-of-house or office management role - Essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable with diary management and organization
