At Bytes Software Services, we're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Operations Coordinator to join our facilities department. This role will be responsible for managing office operations, including administrative tasks, diary management, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Reading office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office operations, including administrative tasks and diary management
  • Assist the Facilities Manager and Facilities Team with ad hoc tasks
  • Admin duties for the CCO, including diary management and travel bookings
  • Liaise with third-party contractors, including cleaners and security
  • Stock check and order office supplies and equipment
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Meet and greet all visitors, ensuring they are checked and provided with relevant guidance
  • Manage meeting rooms and vendor bookings
  • Assist with on-site events and set-up/set-down meeting rooms each morning
  • Manage goods-in and deliveries, as well as vending machine operations
  • Order buffet lunches and take delivery of food supplies weekly
  • Keep a log of all Reception purchases and raise purchase orders for items purchased
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including PAT testing
  • Provide assistance to Fire Wardens and First Aiders

Requirements:

  • GCSE A-C in English and Mathematics
  • Experience in a similar front-of-house or office management role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable with diary management and strong organizational skills
