About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Planning Manager to lead the uplift and expansion of our operational resilience program to a global scale. This is a critical contract role designed for a professional who excels in guiding and enhancing resilience frameworks, particularly within the complex landscape of financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, enhance, and align existing policies, procedures, and plans to meet international operational resilience standards.
- Work closely with teams in Third Party Risk, Cyber & Information Security, IT, and Disaster Recovery to ensure a cohesive and robust approach to the firm's resilience and risk management posture.
- Develop, mature, and deliver essential Business Continuity artifacts, such as Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), across all regions and business units.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with global standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures addressing operational resilience risks on a global scale.
- Ensure the firm's Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management programs align with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and other relevant global regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of Operational Resilience (OpRes) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks, with a strong grasp of global regulations such as the various nationalities central banking standards around Operational Resilience Guidelines, DORA, MAS BCM Guidelines, and APRA Prudential Standard CPS 230.
- Proven experience in managing and implementing OpRes and BCM programs within the financial services or asset management sectors.
