Business Continuity and Resilience Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Expert to join our team at the London Metal Exchange. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations and maintaining the resilience of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) that aligns with international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate regular Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the development and maintenance of departmental Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and ensure their alignment with the overall BCMS.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the effective implementation of disaster recovery testing and invocation procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on operational resilience and risk management to department heads and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business continuity management, with a strong understanding of ISO22301 and other relevant standards.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Knowledge of IT service management and disaster recovery principles.
