Job Summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Administrator to join our Perinatal Community Mental Health Service team. As a key member of our administration team, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to clients and staff, ensuring confidentiality, efficiency, and accuracy in all aspects of your work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and courteous response to service users, handling distressed clients via telephone and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Manage diaries, update medical records using Rio, and assist the team with general administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a seamless and efficient administrative service.

Requirements
  • GCSE level English Language or equivalent.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, with experience of using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
