Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional and courteous response to service users, including occasional handling of distressed clients via telephone.
  • Manage diaries, update medical records using Rio, and assist the team with general administrative tasks.
  • Work collaboratively as part of an efficient and professional team to ensure a comprehensive administrative service is provided to clients and staff.

Requirements
  • GCSE level English Language or equivalent.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality.
  • Well-developed skills in communicating effectively with clients and other professionals within and outside the NHS.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, acquired through training and experience.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • ECDL or equivalent experience.
  • RSA 3 keyboard skills; audio typing and word processing.
  • Knowledge of NHS organisation and protocols.
  • Knowledge of specialist functional/medical/legal terms and experience to deal with non-routine issues.

  • Evidence of demonstrating the Trust's values and behaviours.
