Lead Insurance Consultant

Sewell Wallis Ltd is in search of a committed and resourceful Lead Insurance Consultant to support the Head of Insurance in executing the Group's insurance initiatives.
This position entails overseeing the daily management of the Group's corporate insurance portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in insurance, whether from an internal role or with an insurance provider, and should have a solid understanding of property insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Insurance in implementing the Group's insurance strategy in collaboration with key property and corporate stakeholders.
- Provide timely and accurate high-quality information and support.
- Manage the administration of the Group's insurance policies and efficiently respond to information requests from various teams.
- Support the renewal process of the Group's annual corporate insurance program, distributing premiums across the business.
- Gather precise and timely information requested by insurers, brokers, and third parties regarding insurance inquiries, notifications, and ongoing claims.
- Deliver claims and risk management data to the asset management teams as necessary.
- Ensure all data and documents are entered into relevant systems and databases in accordance with company protocols.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all pertinent company systems and databases to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate the disclosure of risk information to insurers to assist the business in fulfilling their disclosure and Duty of Fair Presentation obligations as per the Insurance Act.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector is required. While it is preferred that candidates are studying for or have completed the Level 2 Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) of the Chartered Insurance Institute, it is not mandatory.
Proficiency in all major applications within the MS Office suite is essential.
